Ending the Silence
We are currently recruiting for presenters to help us deliver our new NAMI Jeffco’s Ending the Silence (ETS) programs — in which students, parents, and school staff learn about mental health warning signs, and how early recognition and prevention is key to positive outcomes. There are three separate programs, and each is geared toward the needs of each group.
An Ending the Silence presentation is free, runs for 50 minutes, and features two speakers, including one young adult living in recovery with a mental health condition. Following a slideshow, short videos and talk about some mental health basics, the young adult speaker shares his or her experience. The young adult speaker offers encouragement, help, and conveys a message of hope.
If you are a young adult between the ages of 18 and 30 living in recovery with a mental health condition, or an adult over 30 with or without a mental health condition and you want to help us make these programs a success, please contact us at or 720-809-5060.
The training is easy, online and we will really need your help!
